Designed
and built in Gnarabup by Wightman Building Company
over a period of 5 months, this house shows
the construction phases as the house progresses.
Beginning with a comprehensive survey of the
block to find levels and define the 'envelope'
for the house, clearing of some of the bush
around the block then takes place befor the
construction begins.
Built
on a concrete pad, with a combination of brick
and timber framed construction, the house was
designed with the owners lifestyle in mind.
A big deck area, with bifold and sliding doors,
and an open plan kitchen dining and living area
were key aspects for inclusion in the design.
