Gary Wightman - Managing Director
A carpenter by trade, Gary worked extensively in multi storey commercial construction before an 18-month stint in the United States where Gary discovered a new passion for framed innovative construction. On settling in Margaret River, Gary started his building company and, over the last 20 years, has seen it steadily develop a reputation for quality, not only in design and finish but also customer service. It is this success that has lead Wightman Building Company to become a development company that offers the complete product.

Alex Wightman - Contracts and Construction Manager
After graduating from Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School in 2004, Alex completed a Bachelor of Construction Management and Economics at Curtin University and is in the process of undertaking a Masters of Project Management at the University of Sydney. After completing a semester on exchange at the University of Florida in the USA in 2007 Alex juggled the completion of his degree with his new full time position at Wightman Building Company. Over the past three years Alex has helped lead WBC to the northwest of WA and become a leading commercial construction company.
